The Dropship Spy website and its members' platform have been revamped for faster load times, a clearer view of product information, and new features.
Winning products
The ‘winning products' section will show you products that are already performing well for other dropshipping Shopify stores.
Similar to other product sourcing platforms (for example, Ecomhunt), there are two product categories.
The first one shows products that are already being sold by other dropshippers, whereas the second one shows promising, untapped products based on their recent sales performance.
In this section you have a search bar to find products that match your needs and can sort them by:
- Release date
- Commitment rate
- User comments and feedback
- Category
If you click on one of the products shown on the list, you will see all the information you need to start running ads and sell this product. A concrete view indeed.
Here is an example of the product details you will see in the platform:
This product section includes different pieces of information. The first and most common blocks show you the potential profit you will make by selling this product.
The reselling price is averaged so you will need to adapt the price as per your needs – ideally a minimum of x3 from the starting price.
This page also offers a product overview and a quick description. In addition to the Facebook ads' user feedback (which is crucial), you will also find a list of the best AliExpress suppliers for this product.
Shipping times, product quality, and supplier reliability

As quickly mentioned earlier, you can see the user feedback on the actual Facebook ads – but simplified. In addition to the quick overview, there is a whole section dedicated to the product’s performance on Facebook Ads.
Something you will need to check out before you start running ads, especially if you are a beginner.
A report of the two best ads will show you the number of likes, comments, shares, views, etc.
To summarize, everything you need to estimate the potential of the product is there for you. Dropship Spy even provides you with a video to use on your ads – and in general, video ads convert better.
Other additional bits and pieces include product information as seen on marketplaces like Amazon, eBay and how to promote your product with Instagram influencers.
As with other product source platforms, the Dropship Spy team handpicks the products every day so you can expect 2 to 3 new products daily.
Finally, the platform allows you to import products AliExpress, eBay, Amazon, and Walmart directly to your store.
Hucksta Connect Integration with Shopify
Hucksta is a software that lets you manage your orders from multiple e-commerce stores in one interface.
All you need to do is to install the Chrome extension which will synchronize all your stores with Hucksta Connect.
This functionality allows you to import and edit your products directly from the Dropship Spy platform.
Even though it's still in beta version, you can try it out and see if it works for you. Alternatively, you can use Oberlo until they release the final version.
Spy tool for Shopify stores
Dropship Spy provides different options that will help you analyze competitors. The main reason to use this functionality is to find bestsellers from other stores so you can promote them on yours as well.
To get some inspiration, click on ‘Store Spy' and you will have access to multiple successful Shopify stores.

There are different metrics that show the performance of each store.
Dropship Spy shows the store’s Facebook page, whether it's running ads or not as well as traffic data and best-selling products.
Finding best sellers can be done manually as well. When you find a competitor in your niche, go to their homepage and add the code in bold as shown below:

Similarly, you can manually find a store's Facebook ads. You would need the store's Facebook page name and then search for it here:
Facebook Audience Builder & Engagement Calculator
Another couple of great tools inside Dropship Spy is the Facebook Audience Builder and Engagement Calculator. Both will help you create successful advertising campaigns on Facebook.
The Facebook engagement calculator shows you the engagement score of a Facebook post or ad.
Adding in different numbers for likes, comments, shares, and publication dates, you will be able to get high-performing ads that other competitors are currently running.
This is essential to every advertising campaign as it gives a head start to finding a product that sells and is liked by thousands, if not millions!
The second tool helps you choose the audience of your Facebook campaigns.
Each ad will have a list of around 60 audiences (under a specific niche) you can test your ads on.
If for example, the product you've chosen to promote is Halloween-related, this is how the suggestions for ‘Halloween' will be displayed.
These, of course, are only suggestions and not all of them may work (unless the product is phenomenal). but they are a very good starting point for your testing.
Approved Instagram influencers
Advertising on multiple channels is essential to growing your business to its real potential.
Instagram influencers are one of the highest converting channels you can utilize and the Dropship Spy team has done some of the legwork for you.
In the platform, you will find a list of different influencers the Dropship Spy team has handpicked for you based on past results of product promotions.
The relevant list can be easily filtered down to the related niche. Clicking on one of the entries, you will all the details you need to make your pick.

If you find the relevant details not enough, there is also a tool called HypeAuditor which is a high-end search engine for influencers.
Other features
Dropship Spy has a set of other small features that will assist you in growing your e-commerce business.
One of them is the ability to download customer reviews from other websites.
This is not really legit and I don't 100% recommend it but if you are in a tight spot and you want to start quickly, you can always add a few and remove them later.
In the platform, you will also find training courses to learn the basics of e-commerce as well as how to get traffic that becomes customers.
A list of 25 training tutorials on Shopify, Facebook, WooCommerce, and more is there for you to access!
Finally, you have the option to log in to a forum with other dropshippers and e-commerce shop managers to share and gain knowledge.
Dropship Spy Pricing
There are 3 plans available to choose from.
- Hobby – Free
- Pro – $19 per month
- Yearly – $150 per month (saving over $600 per year)
If you are just starting out, I would recommend getting the Pro version.
The main reason is that you would need Video Ads and Ads analysis in order to be able to run successful advertising campaigns.
I would always choose to spend 20, 40 USD for a couple of months and see what ads are performing well rather than spending hundreds on Facebook to find out myself. I hope the same stands for you as well.
Dropship Spy Review: Final thoughts
I’m really satisfied by what the Dropship Spy guys have created.
The tool has indeed similarities to other software like Niche Scraper, but Dropship Spy has so many features at such a low price.
Their support team is also quick to help and update their documentation on a regular basis.
If you are low on budget, new to dropshipping, or simply don't know which tool to go for, Dropship Spy is great because of the low price, especially when compared to similar platforms.
